Authorities are currently probing the cause of a fire that resulted in 11 vehicles catching fire near Tongaat, KwaZulu-Natal, on a Saturday afternoon.
Samantha Meyrick, spokesperson for IPSS Medical Services, reported that their team promptly responded to the incident after receiving reports. Upon arrival, they discovered nearly a dozen vehicles engulfed in flames. Fortunately, no casualties were reported as a result of the fire.

Meyrick stated, “On Saturday afternoon IPSS Medical Rescue responded to a report of a vehicle fire on R102 near Tongaat. On arrival, it was established that 11 vehicles were on fire. The fire was extinguished by the Tongaat fire department. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported on the scene, and the matter will be investigated further by local SAPS.”
