Christopher Gregor, a 31-year-old man from the UK, faces accusations of murdering his six-year-old son, Corey Micciolo, in a tragic case that has shocked the nation. Reports from The Independent detail a harrowing narrative of physical and emotional abuse inflicted upon the young child by his own father.

Investigators revealed that Micciolo suffered catastrophic injuries, including a fatal blow to the heart, allegedly inflicted by Gregor’s persistent abuse. Disturbing CCTV footage from a fitness facility emerged during court proceedings, depicting the accused compelling his son to run on a treadmill. The footage, dated March 20, 2021, captures Micciolo struggling to keep pace as the machine’s incline steepens, ultimately collapsing from exhaustion.

Micciolo’s mother, witnessing the distressing scene in court, reportedly broke down in tears, becoming the first witness to testify. According to The Independent, the footage shows Gregor forcibly returning his son to the treadmill after his legs gave way, seemingly biting his head before adjusting the machine’s settings.

Tragically, it was revealed that the mother had reported concerns to child services days before Micciolo’s death. Gregor was subsequently arrested on March 9, 2022, on charges of his son’s murder and is currently detained without bail.
