Members of the political party uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) are nearing the conclusion of their 14-hour march to the Constitutional Court.

The march, which began on Monday morning from Jeff Masemola Street in Tshwane, has seen MK supporters walk for 11 hours so far as they contest the 2024 election results, alleging that the elections were rigged and that their votes were stolen.

Supporters of the party are currently gathered at the San Kopano Hall in Alexandra, where they are attending a meeting. MK’s Gauteng spokesperson Abel Tau confirmed that they will spend the night in Alexandra before resuming their march tomorrow.

The final leg of the journey will only take about three hours, with the group set to resume walking at 9 a.m. tomorrow.
